Waleed Naser, Esq.

Waleed Naser is the founder and principal attorney of Naser Immigration Law, LLC, where he is dedicated to advocating for immigrants. He focuses on asylum, family-based immigration, and federal immigration litigation. Waleed has represented dozens of asylum seekers, including many Palestinians and other vulnerable populations, in both USCIS interviews and immigration court proceedings. He has also filed numerous lawsuits against the U.S. government, challenging wrongful denials, delays, and other immigration injustices.

Waleed founded Naser Immigration Law, LLC with a vision to provide powerful, accessible, and client-centered immigration representation. His firm is built on the principles of strong advocacy, efficiency, and transparency, ensuring that every client receives personalized attention and strategic guidance. By embracing innovation and eliminating traditional barriers, Naser Immigration Law delivers high-quality legal services that are both effective and accessible to those who need them most.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Waleed is a proud Palestinian-American. He earned his undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University before obtaining his law degree from the University of Memphis. His legal career began at a nonprofit civil rights firm in Dallas, Texas, where he represented Muslims and other marginalized communities in federal litigation involving immigration, civil rights, and constitutional law.

Waleed went on to play a key role in nationwide immigration litigation, taking on mass-plaintiff lawsuits against the U.S. government. He was extensively involved in lawsuits against USCIS and the State Department over COVID-related delays, representing hundreds of plaintiffs seeking action on their long-stalled immigration cases. He also represented a group of over 500 individuals in a high-profile lawsuit challenging the legality of USCIS’s H-1B registration and selection process. In addition to these large-scale cases, Waleed has filed numerous individual lawsuits against USCIS and the State Department, holding agencies accountable for wrongful denials, unlawful delays, and other systemic failures. His litigation experience spans 13 U.S. District Courts, and he plays an active role in shaping national immigration litigation strategy as a member of the American Immigration Benefits Litigation Committee and the AILA Federal Court Steering Committee.

In recognition of his dedication, skill, and impact, Waleed was named a Super Lawyer in 2024. He is widely respected for his strategic advocacy and results-driven approach, whether in the courtroom, before USCIS, or in direct negotiations with government agencies. He remains committed to providing compassionate, effective, and aggressive representation for immigrants seeking safety, family reunification, and justice in the United States.

Farah Chalisa Esq.

Attorney

Farah Chalisa is a practicing attorney in Chicago, IL who has dedicated her career to protecting the human and civil rights of marginalized communities. Farah received her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2020. She began her career in litigation and government enforcement at the law firm Baker & McKenzie LLP, where she took on pro-bono matters of asylum and section 1983 civil rights claims. She then transitioned to the public sector fully where she represented survivors of gender-based crime in criminal and civil proceedings. In light of world events, she spent a year dedicating her time pro-bono to represent Palestinians in evacuation proceedings, before joining Naser Immigration Law.

At Naser Immigration Law, LLC, Farah works on federal litigation, including lawsuits against USCIS and the State Department related to unreasonable immigration delays, affirmative and defensive asylum cases, family-based immigration, and civil rights litigation related to the First Amendment and national security. Farah is an active voice in her local community. She serves as Director of Human Rights and Law for Al Hub Chicago, a Palestinian advocacy organization. Farah also volunteers with nonprofit Empowering Women where she advises survivors of gender-based violence on matters of immigration and domestic violence, and serves on the board of Kisat Diabetes Organization (KDO) and the Human Development Foundation (HDF) Chicago Network. She was recently selected as a Rising Star by the American Pakistan Foundation for her pro-bono work and advocacy. Farah is deeply influenced by her Pakistani-American and "honorary Palestinian" identities and a fierce advocate on behalf of these communities. She looks forward to advocating as fiercely on your behalf, and assisting you in your immigration matter.

Naura Amarante

Paralegal

Naura Amarante is an experienced immigration paralegal at Naser Immigration Law, LLC, specializing in family immigration matters. Naura is fluent in English and Spanish and plays a key role in assisting clients with a variety of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status applications, work authorization requests, and naturalization cases. Naura specializes in family immigration and is dedicated to helping clients reunite with their loved ones and build a life in the United States.

She understands the challenges many immigrants face and is committed to providing clear guidance and compassionate support every step of the way. Whether it’s assisting with preparing complex cases or resolving client issues, Naura ensures that each case receives the attention and care it deserves, fast and efficiently. She is proud to be part of a team that helps families and individuals achieve their goals and create a better future.

Besides work, Naura enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new cuisines, watching crime documentaries, and traveling to experience different cultures.

Mohammed Rizk

Paralegal

Mohammed Rizk is a paralegal at Naser Immigration Law, LLC, where he plays a key role in handling asylum cases. He assists in preparing asylum applications, drafting legal documents, and conducting country conditions research to strengthen clients' cases. In addition to his work in asylum law, Mohammed supports the firm in family-based immigration matters and other complex immigration cases. He works closely with attorneys and clients, managing case workflows, gathering supporting evidence, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Based in Cairo, Egypt, Mohammed has personally met and assisted some of the firm’s clients located there, providing invaluable in-person support in navigating their immigration cases. Before becoming a paralegal, Mohammed served as the firm’s intake coordinator, where he was often the first point of contact for potential clients. In this role, he excelled in client communication, assessing case eligibility, and guiding individuals through the firm’s intake process. His ability to connect with clients and provide clear, empathetic guidance set a strong foundation for his transition into his current role.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Mohammed effectively communicates with a diverse range of our Middle Eastern clients, ensuring they fully understand their legal options and the immigration process.

Outside of work, Mohammed enjoys traveling, exploring local cafés, and staying active through exercise.

Penson Regis

Paralegal

Penson Regis is a dedicated immigration paralegal with a diverse and extensive background that uniquely qualifies him to assist clients in navigating complex immigration matters. A native of Haiti, Penson is fluent in four languages—English, Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish—allowing him to effectively communicate with a wide range of clients and offer a more inclusive approach to immigration services.

Penson began his professional journey as an entrepreneur and business executive. After earning a Certificate of Professional Aptitude as a Sales Support Associate, he worked his way up to become the Chief Operating Officer of a nearshore outsourcing company. He later co-owned and served as the CEO of a language institution, after earning an accredited teaching certification from World TESOL Academy. His entrepreneurial spirit was further nurtured through a certification at MITx, the online learning initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he focused on entrepreneurship.

Penson is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), having earned his certification badge through Credly.com, issued by Google. Additionally, he holds a Strategic Management: Business Strategy certificate from the prestigious Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, which he completed online via EDx.

In July 2022, Penson transitioned to the legal field, beginning his career as an immigration paralegal. He quickly gained expertise in a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, from marriage-based petitions to VAWA, as well as immigrant and non-immigrant visas, asylum and withholding of removal, refugee applications, humanitarian parole applications, work permits, residence (green card) applications, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), travel authorizations, and naturalization. Penson has significant experience working on litigation matters, including writs of mandamus lawsuits with federal courts, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases, and employment-based petitions.

Penson holds an Executive Diploma in Immigration Law and Consular Administration from Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, where he developed a deep understanding of both European and Dominican immigration law, further enhancing his knowledge of U.S. immigration law. He also completed the “Nuts and Bolts of U.S. Immigration Law” and “An Introduction to American Law” certificates from PennLaw, University of Pennsylvania.

Working diligently alongside the attorneys, Penson helps families and individuals navigate the often-complex immigration process. His ability to provide multi-lingual support and his vast experience in family, employment, and litigation-based immigration cases make him a valuable asset to the firm and to clients seeking immigration solutions.

Aws Tamimi

Intake Coordinator & Social Media Manager

Aws Tamimi is the Intake Coordinator and Social Media Manager at Naser Immigration Law, where he oversees the client intake process and ensures seamless communication between clients and the firm. With five years of experience in customer relations, Aws excels at assessing client needs, streamlining operational processes, and enhancing the firm’s outreach through strategic social media marketing.

Aws holds degrees in Network Security Engineering and English, earned through academic studies in both the United States and Jordan. In addition to his technical background, he has extensive experience in digital marketing, having successfully promoted numerous small businesses across various social media platforms, including his own. Fluent in Arabic and English, Aws provides inclusive support to a diverse clientele, helping individuals navigate the complexities of immigration processes with clarity and confidence.

Beyond his professional role, Aws is passionate about social media and content creation. He has built his own channels across multiple platforms, where he educates Arabic-speaking audiences on a range of topics. His strong on-camera presence and technical skills make him a compelling digital communicator.

Amro Aburamadan

Legal-Tech Innovation Consultant

Amro Aburamadan brings a unique blend of legal expertise and technological innovation to Naser Immigration Law, LLC. Originally from Gaza, he has a master’s degree in law and extensive experience working as a lawyer with multiple human rights organizations. His legal knowledge is complemented by his background as the CEO of a tech company that provided software solutions to businesses across the Middle East. Amro has developed custom tech solutions for the firm, including a complete overhaul of the intake management system and the creation of a tailored platform to enhance efficiency and client experience. His expertise in legal technology allows him to streamline immigration processes while ensuring client-centered approach.

Amro left Gaza in 2024 after narrowly escaping the war and ultimately settled in Houston, TX. Now, he is committed to using his knowledge and experience to support immigrant communities and improve access to justice through technology-driven legal solutions. He continues to innovate for the firm’s clients, constantly refining and enhancing the firm’s technological capabilities to provide the best possible service.
